Do you value connection and friendship?

Our members join a community that values the power of friendship and language. We believe that speaking and listening skills together with cultural understanding are key to personal fulfilment and lasting social change.

While members meet all over the world, Dartmouth House, our London headquarters, is a space for members to socialise, work, and be inspired through our events programme. The Grade II-listed House offers a bar, lounge and marble courtyard and our Dartmouth House Membership offers unlimited access to its facilities.

Do you believe in the power of education?

We work with young people all over the world to increase oracy skills and cultural understanding. These skills help them to achieve their full potential and to change their lives and communities for the better.

As a member, you contribute to this vital educational work. Many members also choose to help us by fundraising or volunteering their time to help us run our programmes and competitions.

Do you want to join a network for global dialogue?

As a member, you join an international community of like-minded people, all open to new ideas and cultures. Our network of branches and International ESUs provide opportunities to meet, socialise and gain new perspectives on the world.

Our life-changing work is made possible by the support of our members.
