This month, we welcome the news that former headteacher and outgoing general secretary of the ASCL leaders’ union has been appointed chair of a new commission on oracy. We’re also enjoying a podcast in which actors discuss their favourite speech, a new book from an English teacher-turned-cultural commentator on Japan, and an article in The New York Times about a teacher whose impassioned email to an author resulted in a lesson like no other. Find these and more in our article on the members’ hub now.
