10 things you didn’t know about… Thanksgiving

A photo of a traditional and classical Thanksgiving meal

From its origins to its links with TV dinners, here are some things you may not know about America’s most popular holiday

Did you know that a shortage of molasses once postponed Thanksgiving for an entire Connecticut town, as it meant that no pumpkin pies could be made? Find out more on our members’ hub. You’ll just need your email to log in, or sign up here to become a member. And do please join us at Dartmouth House on Friday, 24 November for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner.
