13 year olds produce an astonishing performance in the Churchill PS Competition

Year 9 students from Bedford Free School swept the board at the Ouse Valley Branch finals of the 2020 Churchill Public Speaking Competition, comprehensively beating teams drawn from years 10 and 11 from schools in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.  The Free School first team won the overall competition together with the awards for Best Chair and Best Speaker; their second team were competition runners up.  Bedford School took the award for the Best Questioner.
