Hastings branch celebrated the ESU centenary with an Edwardian lunch

Hastings 1066 celebrated the Centenary of the ESU with an Edwardian Lunch at the Royal Victoria Hotel in St. Leonards on Sea.  The venue was perfect for the occasion, with it’s beautiful staircase and elegant décor.  The delicious Edwardian Lunch included ham, curried eggs, quiche and  an apple and winter berry dessert.

The chairman, Rita Macdonald gave a short talk about the history of the ESU, followed by Mr. Matthew Christmas who informed us about his work in the ESU.

The raffle, with many donations from generous members, for which they were thanked, raised money to support schools. The many guests and members greatly enjoyed the occasion.
