About Charles Spicer:
Charles Spicer’s first book, Coffee with Hitler: The British Amateurs Who Tried to Civilise the Nazis was published in September 2022 by Oneworld Publications in the UK, Pegasus Book in the US, and worldwide on audio by Blackstone. Following a career in the City specialising in the medical sector, he now chairs several public and private companies and a government grant-giving body. He is a warden of the Fishmongers’ Company, deputy chair of the Royal Humane Society, and served as High Sheriff of Greater London in 2019. Charles has a PhD in history from London University, an MA from Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
