Members are warmly welcome to use Dartmouth House as a place to meet other members and friends, hold meetings in our meeting rooms, host events or just relax in our comfortable members' rooms.
Dartmouth House is open to members from 08:30am to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday. We actively encourage members to invite guests to Dartmouth House, not only to enjoy the splendours of the building but also to be introduced to our charitable work. For security reasons, Members are required to sign in at reception and we kindly request that members meet their guests in reception and accompany them when in the house.
Wireless Internet is provided throughout the house and the password is displayed at reception. Many members enjoy the opportunity to eat and drink at Dartmouth House. We are very pleased to have Harbour & Jones as our in-house caterer and they offer food throughout the day. Especially popular is our Champagne Afternoon Tea. Our fully stocked bar is open throughout the day
For members wishing to hold meetings or events, we offer discounts on the cost of hiring the meeting and event rooms at Dartmouth House.
Food is served throughout the day in the Wedgewood and Revelstoke Rooms, beginning with a brunch menu from 09:00am, lunch from 12:00pm and then a varied menu of both lighter and more substantial meals from 3:00pm until 9:30pm.
Tea, coffee and other hot and cold beverages are served throughout the day and we have a fully stocked bar serving alcoholic drinks from 11:00am until 10:00pm.
Our Champagne Afternoon Tea is served from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
Tables can be booked in the Wedgwood Room restaurant by calling reception. In summer, weather permitting, food and drink is also served in the courtyard.
We also offer a refreshments and lunch service to our meeting rooms.
Lunches, dinners or banquets can be held in any of the three rooms on the 1st floor which give you great options depending on the size of your event.
The house can accommodate all different sizes of events including receptions for up to 400 people - taking over the whole house and allowing your guests to wander around your own private Mayfair Mansion - to a small intimate reception for 40 people in the Small Drawing Room with its ornate carved ceiling and full-length windows.
Drinks receptions, canapés, lunch and dinner menus and wine lists can be arranged with our in-house caterers, Harbour & Jones, to suit your preferences and budget.

Our rooms can be used independently or as a suite and can be easily equipped with your own lighting, staging and audiovisual systems. From private luncheons for 20 in the elegant Small Drawing Room to formal receptions for 450 in the whole house, each event will receive the same personal attention and attentive service.

The Long Drawing Room
Decorated in the late 18th century style, the Long Drawing Room is perfect for all types of events and features an Adam's fireplace, beautifully draped full-length windows and an ornately carved ceiling.
This striking room accommodates up to 100 guests for a dinner or conference and 120 for a reception. It can also be combined with the Small Drawing Room for larger events.
The Small Drawing Room
This room has all the elegance of the Long Drawing Room, but its smaller scale makes it perfect for more intimate events.
By choosing the Small Drawing Room, your event will benefit from all the grandeur of our unusual venue whilst creating a comfortable and intimate atmosphere - essential for that important business meeting or special dinner.
The Churchill Room
The Churchill Room is a striking, opulent room that features Louis XIV oak panelling, creating a very different atmosphere to the rest of the house. This room is ideal for drinks receptions, dinners or as a ballroom for dancing.
If you are looking for a truly unique room, the Churchill possesses a stately presence to provide a real wow-factor.
Dartmouth House boasts one of London's rarest features - an enclosed courtyard for hosting open-air receptions. The fountain, architectural style and wrought iron tables and chairs combine to create the atmosphere of a chateau terrace - a private and secluded haven in the middle of Mayfair.
The Courtyard is perfect for alfresco canapé and drinks receptions, either after your conference or before your dinner. Ideal for summer parties and barbecues, it provides a great space for your guests to mix and mingle.
As well as our historic rooms, Dartmouth House also boasts three modern meeting rooms, all fitted with the latest audiovisual equipment and projection screens.
Seating up to 10 people in each room, these spaces are perfect for business meetings. Refreshments and lunches are served directly to the rooms.
Private Hire of the House
Along with its exquisite function rooms, as an exclusive hire you can enjoy the other wonders of the house: the charming marble Courtyard, the original grand staircase with a piano providing an ideal way of entertaining your guests while they sit down to dinner.

Whilst there are no parking facilities at Dartmouth House, there is an NCP car park on Shepherd's Market and metered street parking is available, although limited.
There are two Santander Cycle Hire points near to Dartmouth House - one in Clarges Street (immediately behind Dartmouth House) and one in Curzon Street (the street south of Charles Street).
There is a taxi rank outside the Chesterfield Hotel, next door to Dartmouth House.
