Hastings 1066 July meeting

The Hastings July meeting included lunch and a talk given by a retired commercial lady pilot, Zohar Sylph and her experiences.

Bedford School hosted eighteen schools for the eighth junior Public Speaking Competitions.

The Junior Public Speaking  lunch meeting show cased the talents of year 4/5 Bedfordshire students.

Exeter branch talk on migration by Jonathan Lee Draper

The Exeter and District branch  hosted Dr Jonathan Draper who was Dean of Exeter Cathedral from 2011 to 2017. He is now the part-time General Secretary of Modern Church, a liberal Christian charity.

Public Speaking Competition for schools: Liverpool & Merseyside

The Liverpool & Merseyside branch final for the Public Speaking Competition  winners were chosen in a tight and close competition.

Midlands regional final of Public Speaking Competition

The Midlands Final of the Public Speaking Competition was hosted by Oxfordshire this year. With great difficulty the judges decided to award first place to Oxford Spires Academy with the Pates Grammar School team as a very worthy runner-up.

West Sussex Performing Shakespeare Final

The regional final of Performing Shakespeare was held at the Bishop’s Palace in Chichester. Showcasing a close competition for 2018.
