The Mill Theatre has been ever-present in Douglas and Ginny’s lives for 52 years and both have supported the theatre in a number of ways, including acting in a number of productions. Douglas has just retired as Chair of Governors of this unique riverside theatre which is run and maintained entirely by volunteers. He will take us through its history from wartime formation and entertaining groups stationed in Poddington, to its award winning amateur status today. His wife Ginny, has been wardrobe mistress for many years and will talk about the unique collection housed in the basement. If Health and Safety permits, a tour may be possible.
Booking forms are available on request from Interim Chair, Ellen Punter, and must be returned at least seven days prior to the event: [email protected]
