The Trust looks after some 350 Churches vested in it by the Church Commissioners of the Church of England. Megan will tell us about the work of the Trust with particular reference to Churches in the South Eastern area. Time: Refreshments are available from 10.15am and the talk will start at 10.45am. Epping Forest Branch: A Talk by Sue Clack entitled “The Silk Road by Bus”

Sue Clack is the local representative for ‘Help for Heroes’ and, as such, she has spoken to us before. When not helping heroes Sue tends to go in for challenging travel and this time she will tell us about her experiences travelling the Central Asian section of the ancient Silk Road by Bus whilst, for the most part, camping and self-catering. Refreshments are available from 10.15am and the talk will start at 10.45am.

Bob Johnson is well known to us for his wonderful wildlife photography taken both locally and in Africa.  This time, he is going in completely the opposite direction and will talk on his recent visit to the Arctic illustrated by his spectacular photographs of the region and its wildlife.  Indeed, he is so enthusiastic about the area that he will come again to our March meeting to complete the story of his Arctic experiences.
