Louisa began her career as a secondary school teacher in North London as part of the Teach First programme. She left the classroom in 2014 to co-found and then lead a youth philanthropy/social action charity before joining The ESU in June 2024.
Charles Byrne joined the English-Speaking Union of the Commonwealth as Director-General in March 2024, bringing a lifelong passion for oracy and a broad range of valuable skills and experience. As DG, Charles also acts as the Secretary-General to the International Council of the ESU.
Nathan joins the ESU with over 20 years’ experience working in the public and charity sectors, where he has been responsible for advising organisations on strategy development and corporate governance.
Consola is an external relations and membership expert. She is experienced in building long-term and high profile corporate and government partnerships for membership organisations as well as creating new commercial opportunities in the private and public sector.
Cait comes to the ESU with a wealth of experience in education, both here in the UK, and internationally in both China and Morocco.
