Kane McLaughlin

Kane is a recent law graduate who has delivered ESU programmes as a senior oracy trainer and mentor for three years across the UK and Denmark.

An enthusiastic debater, Kane previously served as President of Leeds Debating Union.

Kane’s love for the ESU began in his Secondary School Exchange scholarship year at the Virginia Episcopal School in 2016 and he keenly promotes the SSE to sixth-form students seeking a gap year with a difference.

Enthusiastic about education, Kane is a primary school governor and a former editor-in-chief for the Leeds Human Rights Journal, an undergraduate academic journal. In his free time Kane enjoys running, history and architecture.
