Anikka Weerasinghe

Anikka joined the ESU in 2015. As a communications strategist with extensive experience in media relations, corporate communications and reputational management, Anikka has worked in public sector organisations across the UK and Canada.

Having worked in a number of roles in both the House of Commons and the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK Branch, she has a strong appreciation for the importance of dialogue, discussion and debate in communicating ideas and promoting cultural understanding. Anikka holds an MSc. in Politics and Communications, and is currently completing an Executive MPA at the London School of Economics.
