Supporting public speaking for primary school students

ESU Colchester is proud to have provided financial assistance to a local primary school to enable it to participate in a recent public speaking competition. The competition, for Year 4 students in Essex, was delivered by ESU Colchester committee member, Nicky Browne, through her Mighty Oak foundation. Forty teams, each with three competing roles, took part in the event held over three days at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, on 25, 26 and 27 April. Winners were from The Cathedral Primary School, Chelmsford; St Mary’s Lower School, Colchester and Lyons Hall Primary School, Braintree.
