Michael Buerk joins Lincolnshire branch centenary dinner and helps raise £2000

The English-Speaking Union’s Lincolnshire branch centenary dinner raised nearly £2,000 for the primary school debating programme, Discover Debating.

The raised funds will enable the programme to run in two local primary schools for two terms, thanks to award-winning journalist, BBC Radio 4’s The Moral Maze presenter Michael Buerk who volunteered his services as guest speaker at the event held at Lincoln College on Friday 10 November with 120 members and supporters.
