Busking beyond borders with Ouse Valley

On 6 December Ouse Valley branch hosted David Fisher, director of the buskers’ advocacy group ‘Keep Streets Live’.

David’s performance and readings from his book were a really lovely way to end Ouse Valley’s talks and lunches for 2022 and enjoyed by all present, who were introduced to the interesting, tricky and often very amusing ups and downs of the life of a wandering minstrel. From now on they will ensure that they stop to listen to a ‘busker’ and throw a ‘few bob’ their way!
