Primary Public Speaking & Debating Competitions

Years 4 to 6

Some ESU branches – Colchester, Ouse Valley, South Wales and Lincolnshire – each have highly successful primary-level initiatives, comprising workshops, a junior debate academy and competitions. The majority are volunteer-run by highly respected educationalists and are free to the schools involved.

In 2018-19, over 2,000 pupils took part in ESU primary competitions.
