SUMMARY:Cheese & Wine Evening and London Branch AGM
DESCRIPTION:The London Branch of the ESU is holding a cheese and wine evening for current and prospective members. \nWe will begin with an AGM\, reviewing our activities in the past year and planning for the current one. There will then be an opportunity to meet informally\, with cheese and wine provided. \nIf you are interested in joining us\, please come along. If you are already a member\, please bring a friend! \nAbout The English-Speaking Union London Branch \nThe English-Speaking Union works to make a difference to the lives of young people by helping them to develop their speaking skills (oracy). We sponsor educational projects in schools in areas of deprivation and hold school competitions in debating\, public speaking and drama performance\, with volunteer judges drawn from our membership. We also host social events at Dartmouth House\, including author talks\, a film club\, and quiz evenings. The London Branch is the ESU’s largest membership branch in the UK with members of all ages and of many different backgrounds.
