DESCRIPTION:Join the Salisbury Branch of the ESU for a talk by Caroline de Guitaut\, surveyor of the King’s Works of Art at the Royal Collection Trust. \nCaroline de Guitaut\, surveyor of The King’s Works of Art at Royal Collection Trust\, will be joining the Salisbury Branch to give a lecture on the Carl Fabergé collection.  Under her care is a collection of over 700\,000 works of art\, located in 15 royal residences which includes furniture\, sculpture\, metalwork\, ceramics\, textiles\, arms and armour and jewellery including the Crown Jewels. \nThis talk will explore how the collection was formed through six successive generations of the Royal Family from Queen Victoria to King Charles III.
