Truro & Cornwall

Welcome to the Cornwall Branch

We are an active branch, holding meetings at which we invite interesting, and occasionally, well-known, speakers to address us on a wide range of topics. Most of our talks are held with lunch at the excellent Carlyon Bay Hotel, Carlyon Bay, St Austell.

Our events enable us to support local schools in taking part in ESU activities. We hold a branch round of the UK Public Speaking Competition.

We also sponsor local schoolchildren to take part in the Performing Shakespeare Competition and we can also support students in applying for (and winning!) places on the Secondary School Exchange.

If you live in Cornwall or nearby, I can strongly recommend the work of the ESU branch here in Cornwall. Please do join us and I look forward to welcoming you to your first event!
