About us

Welcome to the Norwich and Norfolk Branch of the English-Speaking Union!

The Norwich and Norfolk branch meet monthly at Park Farm Hotel, Hethersett, for lunch followed by a speaker on varied subjects. Other meetings and visits are arranged throughout the year.

As well organising local social events for members we aim to support local heats of the UK Public Speaking Competition which, together with other ESU educational programmes such as Performing Shakespeare, the Schools’ Mace and the mentor-led Discover Your Voice workshops, lie at the core of the ESU’s charitable aims.

So, if you are passionate about helping to equip the young with the life skills and confidence they so need in today’s world, please get in touch. You will be making a real difference to your local community, as well as joining a worldwide organisation dedicated to improving the life chances of young people everywhere.
