Staff News: Kallina

After more than three years with us Kallina Basli has left the ESU to return to Greece, taking on a new role as the Head of Intelligence Squared in Athens.
Kallina’s work at the ESU involved multiple programmes but primarily she ran Discover Your Voice. In heading up the programme, Kallina trained hundreds of university students and ensured that thousands of young people around the UK and the world received the world class training that the ESU is known for delivering.
She was also instrumental in organising the London Debate Challenge and oversaw a massive revitalisation of this competition in her final year at the ESU.
We will miss Kallina’s expertise, flair for teaching and considerable knowledge, and we wish her the very best of luck with her new career.
