International Chairmen Meet in Philadelphia

Forty delegates from 21 ESUs attended the International Council Meeting held in Philadelphia. The meeting which took place at the Union League Club was chaired by Patricia Schroeder, Chairman of the International Council and of ESU USA. Dame Mary Richardson and Peter Kyle represented Dartmouth House at the meeting. Richard Oldham represented the National Council for England and Wales.

Key resolutions which were passed at the meeting included new rules and procedures for elections and voting at the Council and Terms of Reference for Honorary Posts. Delegates also took part in open space workshops which provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and best practise about ESU activities.

The AGM of ESU USA followed immediately after the Council Meeting and international delegates had the opportunity to network with members and Chairman from USA branches.
