The Branch organises the ESU Public Speaking Competition for Schools throughout eastern Sussex - this mainly falls in February. Any member who would like to help is invited to speak to the Organisers.

Tuesday 22nd September- Lecture meeting, 2.15 at Hove Club

Tuesday 6th October- Joyce Rolf Memorial Lecture, 6 for 6.30 at Hove Club
Professor Vernon Bogdanor CBE, FBA, Professor of Government at University of Oxford on Churchill and Europe
Admission free by ticket only

Tuesday 20th October- Marking the 250th anniversary of the capture of Quebec Arthur Collins on Louis XV- The Monarch, the Man and the fall of the Bourbons
Followed by Annual General Meeting
2.15pm at the Hove Club with the AGM beginning at 4pm
