The Branch organises the ESU Public Speaking Competition for Schools throughout eastern Sussex - this mainly falls in February. Any member who would like to help is invited to speak to the Organisers.

Events

Tuesday 21st September at 2.15pm at The Hove Club: Lecture by local historian Jackie Marsh- Hobbs on The Story of the Old Ship Hotel. Followed by Annual General Meeting

Friday 8th October at 6pm at The Hove Club: Joyce Rolf Memorial Lecture by Lord Baker of Dorking on George IV: Cad or Catalyst. Admission by ticket.

Tuesday 19th October at 2.15pm at The Hove Club: Lecture by Michael Smith on England's Prisoner- the story of Napoleon's exile in St Helena
