Director of Charitable Activites

The ESU is currently looking for a Director of Charitable Activities to assist and guide the Director-General in formulating and developing the strategic direction of the charitable activities of the ESU.

Overview:

• To deliver a range of public speaking, debating, cultural and other related programmes consistent with the ESU's stated aims and objectives.
• Identification and development of new charitable programmes that further enhance the overall objectives of the ESU, in the UK and internationally.
• To work closely with the Finance and Operations Director and the Business Development Director to ensure that financial targets are met through fundraising, commercial, merchandising and additional revenue stream opportunities, as agreed with the Director-General.
• To maintain appropriate archives in digital form.
• To identify and nurture effective business partnerships to facilitate and sustain charitable programmes.
• To be an effective, collegiate member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to all aspects of the ESU's mission and purpose.
